Middle Easter Bishops Conference
On Wednesday 15/8/2017 the president of ECWA Mor Malatius Malki with the representatives of the Eastern Christian churches together participated in the Middle Eastern Bishops Conference that took place at Parliament House. The conference was hosted by the Premier of NSW, The Hon., Gladys Berejiklian.
The bishops discussed various topics during the meeting including current issues in NSW, standing for families, and refugees settling in NSW and their housing and work opportunities.
The Hon., Gladys Berejiklian has shown great openness to what has been put forward and proposed to continue the meetings to keep pace with the future events.
